[Game website] In Closed Beta since last year, Grinding Gear Games has finally announced the Open Beta date for Path of Exile, which will happen on 23rd January 2013. Path of Exile is a seriously dark-themed online action RPG, with a strong hint of Diablo II.Although the Diablo II comparison inevitably came out, I must say the game is fundamentally different in its core features. Skills are in the form of stones placed in weapons, each class has a HUGE passive mastery skill tree, there is no actual in-game gold and all content is free!
