Baram, or known in the West as Nexus: The Kingdom of the Winds, has been in operation in South Korea since the year 1996. In fact, this online game is so old (16 years and counting), it was officially recognized by Guinness World Records recently! The game is still going strong under Nexon Korea, with K-Pop group Rainbow as its new spokesperson.
Of course, this did not come out from no where. Baram will be getting a major content update on 6th December, with tons of new maps, dungeons, weapons, story campaigns, improvised game systems and more. An interesting fact if you missed the previous post, the founder of XLGAMES (aka ArcheAge), Jake Song was 1 of Baram’s original developers before moving on to Lineage 1.
