[Game website] Ok, this is not exactly a MMORPG, but it will have multiplayer modes at launch. This is Akaneiro: Demon Hunters, a game currently in Steam Greenlight and set to be on sale next year. Currently, Akaneiro is in its Closed Beta, with the client being web-based. Being developed using the Unity Engine, it gives the game a versatility to be playable on Android devices, Mac and also downloadable client.As you can see, the Japanese ink art style is heavy here, far away from the Western and Orient fantasy settings, which are getting really boring now. The developer, Spicy Horse, is actually based in Shanghai, China. So stop generalizing China developers as copycats only! The game looks gorgeous to me, even though the gameplay will be very familiar to most gamers, with various dungeons and collecting gears.
Players begin as either male or female, with 3 different main stats to choose from: Prowess (damage), Fortitude (defense) and Cunning (traps, stealth). Each option will have various related skills , and players may also mix and match skills from these 3 skill sets. Can’t wait for the multiplayer option to be added, and do support the game over at Steam Greenlight!
