If you do not know, NetEase is one of China’s biggest online companies. According to 2010 2nd quarter’s financial results, it is the 2nd biggest online company in China, occupying 20% of China’s market. Just a few months back, World of Warcraft China opened up after months of negotiations with the China government, adding much to the company’s coffers. Being a developer themselves too, their various Free to Play (F2P) games are also amongst the most profitable. Despite being a leader, I am silently curious why have they not set foot in the English market, compared to Perfect World Entertainment and ChangYou (no. 1, Tencent, is preparing for a North America invasion soon).  In this post, we will have a look at NetEase’s buildings and its surroundings.
